Children were able to study because of coffee
Dahil sa Kape nakapag aral ang mga bata. These are the kind of stories that keep reminding us why this work matters. Ma'am Edrea Mae is a member of the Talaandig IP (indigenous people) community in Bukidnon. During a recent visit, she shared how their community began to diversify into coffee farming and processing, and how this shift has slowly created new opportunities. Through coffee, children were given the chance to go to school, older out-of-school youth were able to take on meaningful work, and families found an additional source of income.
